The region is famous for its paradise beaches with coral reef pools (see my post here). What to See in Phnom Penh, Cambodia - Chaos and Perfection
Phnom Penh is a peculiar city. As usual, in the South East Asia, the Cambodian capital is a mix of perfection, world class architecture and pure chaos. What I liked about it was the fact that Phnom Penh is surprisingly way less popular than cities like, let's say, Bangkok and yet it boasts equally magnificent architecture - such as the royal palace and the temples. Phnom Penh is mainly associated with one of the saddest events in the history of human kind - the Cambodian genocide. But now the Cambodian capital has risen from the ashes and should be looked at and admired as an interesting stop during the journey in the country.

One Day in Santiago - What to See in the Chilean Capital
The Chilean capital Santiago is one of the most flourishing in South America. The tallest skyscraper in the continent and extremely busy business center filled with futuristic buildings are located here. The city also boasts beautifully renovated older parts which resemble grand European cities. However, surprisingly, from a visitor's point of view the city, despite its charm, Santiago does not have too much to offer. The reason for that is that it's quite similar to other big capitals and lacks those bits of uniqueness you can find in some more off the beaten path places. Nevertheless, if you're visiting Chile, although I wouldn't recommend that you spend too much time in Santiago (Chile has way more exciting places), it's nice enough as a stopover for a day or two. Take a look at what we saw during our short stay.
