Cyprus
Cyprus is the farthest to the East island within the European Union. It's divided by Greece and Turkey and geographically it's actually located in Asia. There are some interesting sites on the island (such us an abandoned town and an airport), unfortunately, they are inaccessible for an ordinary travelers.
As more and more airlines offer cheap flights to Cyprus, more tourists flock there for the resorts and sandy beaches. Apart from the coastal areas, we also found some interesting sites inland as the main touristic cities Paphos and Larnaca don't have that much to offer.
